About ColoringFable

Stories to color, made with care

ColoringFable started with a simple observation: coloring pages are everywhere, but coloring pages worth printing are rare. Blurry scans, clip-art recycled across a hundred sites, pages "for kids" with lines no five-year-old could follow. Families and teachers deserved better — so I built it.

Every page on ColoringFable is an original drawing, created for this site, that exists nowhere else. Each one is designed for the hand that will color it: extra-thick lines and big shapes for toddlers, clear scenes for young kids, real detail for big kids, intricate linework for teens and adults. And because coloring is better with imagination, every drawing comes with its own short story, a colored example, and can carry a child's name in big colorable letters.

Who makes ColoringFable

ColoringFable is made by Romain — a French dad of two young colorists, and the creator of Magicoloriage, one of France's largest coloring websites, where more than 700,000 parents and teachers print pages every month.

After three years of making French families happy, I wanted to build something new for English-speaking colorists: not a translation, but a fresh catalog designed from scratch — with everything three years of printed pages taught me about what kids, parents, and teachers actually love to color.

How the pages are made

I believe you deserve to know how the things you print for your kids are created — so here it is, plainly.

The pages are drawn using modern AI image tools, the way today's illustrators use digital brushes and tablets. But a tool doesn't make a coloring page good — direction and judgment do. Here's what that means in practice:

I'm proud of this way of working. It's what lets one very motivated dad offer thousands of free, print-quality, genuinely varied pages — and keep adding new collections every week.

What you can count on

Say hello

I read everything. A page you'd love to see? A typo in a story? A class that colored something wonderful? Write to me at [email protected] — and if you share what your kids made, you'll make my week.
