On most sites, a coloring page is a drawing and nothing else. Here, every single page is written and illustrated like a spread from a picture book: an original short story, the drawing that illustrates it, a colored example, and a coloring tip that ties them together.

An original story on every page

Each drawing on ColoringFable is the key scene of its own little tale — written just for that page, never recycled. Stories run about a hundred words: long enough for a real beginning, twist and warm ending, short enough to read aloud before the crayons come out. Kids color differently after hearing the story — the dragon's wings suddenly need to be storm-grey, because the story says he flew through thunder.

Every page ships with its own colored model — not a generic palette, an actual colored version of that exact drawing. Hover any thumbnail on the site to reveal it.
