🎨 How to color it

Color the bear’s fur honey brown, the doctor coat bright white, the clipboard soft tan, and the plant leaves fresh green. Use chunky crayons for the big coat and face, then try a sharper crayon tip for the tiny medicine labels and heartbeat line. Add a pale blue glow in the window panes so the little cloud shapes feel calm and quiet.

Every afternoon, Tavi held his stethoscope very still and tried to hear the quietest heartbeat in the clinic. He listened past the clink of glass bottles, past the drawer’s soft thump, past the leafy plant brushing the window.

Until one day, the clinic clock ticked louder than everything. Because of that, Tavi stopped writing and waited. Because of that, the room seemed to open: drip, hum, hush, a tiny tap-tap under the warm clipboard in his paw. “There you are,” he whispered.

At sunset, Tavi drew one small heart and one zigzag line, saving the sound he had waited for all day. If you peek at his clipboard, can you find the patient little tap-tap?
