🎨 How to color it

Color the daisy petals soft white or pale pink, the bumpy center golden yellow, the curved stem spring green, and the single leaf a deeper green. Use chunky crayons to fill the big petals first, and don’t worry if little hands color over the thick black lines. For a sweet surprise, add tiny orange dots inside the yellow center like hidden sun-speckles.

At the quiet windowbox, Bram the raindrop slid down a green stem, whispering, “Shine, shine,” so the morning could sparkle.

The daisy opened petal by petal. Soft light sat on every white tip. The leaf held still, cool and smooth.

Then Bram peeked into the daisy’s round middle. Tucked in the bumps was a tiny gold sun, no bigger than a button.

Bram gave it a jiggle. Glimmer, glimmer! The whole windowbox brightened, and if you peek at the daisy’s middle, maybe that shared little sun is still there.
