At the quiet windowbox, Bram the raindrop slid down a green stem, whispering, “Shine, shine,” so the morning could sparkle.
The daisy opened petal by petal. Soft light sat on every white tip. The leaf held still, cool and smooth.
Then Bram peeked into the daisy’s round middle. Tucked in the bumps was a tiny gold sun, no bigger than a button.
Bram gave it a jiggle. Glimmer, glimmer! The whole windowbox brightened, and if you peek at the daisy’s middle, maybe that shared little sun is still there.
