🎨 How to color it

Color the castle walls warm gray, the pointed roofs royal blue, the little flags cherry red, and the giant sun golden yellow. Use chunky crayons or broad marker strokes for the big road, hills, and sun circle, saving a sharper crayon for the small village windows. Try making the winding road pale tan with two darker swoosh lines, like it has just been swept clean for a silly parade.

The story behind this coloring page

Before breakfast, little Nico pushed his broom up the curly road to the castle. Swish-swish went the dust. He wanted the road smooth for the morning parade, so every pebble clicked into his bucket and every leaf got a polite flick into the grass.

The sun warmed the towers, and the flags made flappy-flap jokes in the breeze. Nico set a crumb beside the village church for a hungry bird. Then he found the parade: seven snails in shiny shell hats, sliding straight down his clean road.

“Make way for the slow knights!” Nico whispered, and swept tiny leaf confetti ahead of them. Nobody cheered from the windows, but the snails waved their feelers anyway. Next time the road curls up that hill, can you spot where Nico’s quiet swish-swish began?
