🎨 How to color it

Color the striped popsicle cherry red and lemon yellow, the middle popsicle sky blue with darker blue grooves, and the sprinkled popsicle mint green with rainbow sprinkles and golden star charms. Use chunky crayons or broad markers for the big popsicle shapes, then switch to a pencil or crayon tip for the tiny hearts, stars, dots, and sprinkles. Try making all three wooden sticks tan, but give each melting drip a shiny darker edge so they look extra chilly.

Every day, Gia lined up the cart’s three wobbly popsicles and whispered, “Don’t blink till the bell goes ding!” The striped one stared. The plain one stared. The sprinkled one stared with sticky little drips going plop-plop on the tray.

Until one day, Gia invented a harder rule: nobody could laugh, either. Because of that, the sprinkled pop made a sprinkle mustache. Because of THAT, the striped pop snorted cherry-cold air, and the freezer bell began to slide away on a puddle. Gia’s knees felt fizzy, but she jumped over the drip and tapped it. Ding!
