Every day, Saffi rolled smooth pebbles through the kelp arcade, ping-ping-ping, trying to make them stop inside old shell hoops. She wanted a faster, splashier game, so one morning she swapped the pebbles for one round moon-pearl. “Ready, set, swirl!” she called, and flicked it into the current.
The pearl zipped past a starfish, bumped a scallop, and vanished under waving sea grass that smelled salty and green. Because of that, Saffi followed its glow instead of grabbing too soon. Because of that, she noticed each tiny pause: tap, drift, tap, drift—until finally the pearl rolled into a rusty chest lock with a bright click. Next time you spot Saffi holding her prize, can you find the crown that waited for her patience?
