🎨 How to color it

Layer misty pearl gray through the ghost’s flowing robe, add deep emerald to the Celtic knot bands, warm stone gray to the ruined tower, and muted gold to the stars and crescent moon. Use sharp pencils and color one woven strand at a time, following each over-under path so the knotwork stays readable. For a mischievous finish, make the ghost’s eyes a bright icy blue against a twilight violet background wash.

By the cliff ruin, Bren set himself a tidy midnight challenge: make a cloak from knots tied only with his own chilly fingers. The sea hissed below, and every loop he pulled made a soft skritch, like a mouse writing jokes. He added curls, twists, and one grand chest braid, snickering when the bats mistook it for a fancy road. Then the crescent moon leaned from the clouds wearing the very same pattern, pale and proud. Bren bowed to his copycat helper, warmed by the odd pride of handmade mischief, and tied one last chilly finger-knot.
