Every day, Tavi tapped his tiny shell map—tap, tap!—and marched past tulips to the warm feed dish. The shell smelled like straw and sunshine, and it showed three dots, two stripes, and one zigzag.
Until one day, the zigzag wiggled away! Because of that, Tavi chased it past the fence. Because of THAT, the eggs rolled after him—bump, bump, whee! “This way!” peeped Tavi.
