🎨 How to color it

Color the spiral lollipops in cherry red and cotton-candy pink, the wrapped taffies in lemon yellow, and the small peppermints in cool teal. Use sharp colored pencils for the tight peppermint pinwheels and lollipop spirals, turning the page as you work around each repeating spoke. For a polished mandala effect, shade every other scallop with a pale lavender wash so the candy wheel seems to glow outward.

Under the sugar rotunda, Elowen invented a game called What Comes Next, placing warm taffy, cool peppermints, and glossy sticks in a widening ring while the room smelled of vanilla dust. Each answer made another question: why did sweetness spread, why did circles soothe, why did the last empty space hum? She set one spiral candy at the center, and every lollipop slowly turned its face toward it, as if listening. From then on, lollipops were made round, so curiosity could run away and still find its way home.
