🎨 How to color it

Use honey brown for the officer bear, sky blue for the school windows, sunny yellow for the flowers, and bright red for the flag. For little hands, try chunky crayons on the big school walls and crosswalk stripes, and don’t worry about staying inside every tiny flower petal. Add a happy twist by making each child’s backpack a different favorite color.

The story behind this coloring page

The Sign That Sparkled — Every day, Hugo held up his round sign. Step, step, stop. Read the full story →

Every day, Hugo held up his round sign. Step, step, stop. Little paws crossed to school while the flag went flap-flap.

Until one day, the sign made a tiny twinkle. Hugo peeked behind it. A silver star was hiding there! Because of that, the cub, kitten, and bunny gasped. “Share it!” said Bunny. Because of that, Hugo tipped the sign so the star-shine danced on the flowers, the windows, and every happy nose.

At last, the bell rang ding-ding, and the joy crossed too. Can you spot where the round sign sparkled: step, step, stop?
