🎨 How to color it

Try peach for the fairy’s face, butter yellow for the big star wand, lavender for her wings, and pink for the little flowers near her shoes. Use chunky crayons for the large wings and dress, and don’t worry if the color hops over the bold lines. Add a mischievous rainbow stripe to the wand handle, as if the two stars have been stirring giggles.

Under the blink-blink stars, Tilly tapped her wand on the ground. Tap, tap, tappy-tap! She wanted to hear the smallest sound in the sparkle garden.

A tiny dot went, “Hic!” Tilly giggled. The dot bounced onto her wand and popped into a baby star. Then another dot hiccupped. Pop! Pop! Soon the air smelled like warm sugar and twinkly dust.

“Who tickled who?” Tilly asked. The stars winked back. Next time you see the dots around her wand, can you guess which one will hiccup pop next?
