🎨 How to color it

Give the kitten soft cream fur, the bow tie cherry red, the inner ears peach, and the little bowl sky blue. For ages 2-4, chunky crayons are perfect for the big round head and body, and it is okay if color hops over the thick lines. Add tiny pink cheeks or a few red dots on the bow tie to make this dressed-up kitten feel extra ready.

The story behind this coloring page

Bix and the Brave Bowl — Every day, Bix tapped his blue bowl. Tap-tap! Read the full story →

Every day, Bix tapped his blue bowl. Tap-tap! It meant snack time, safe time, bow-tie time.

Until one day—CLANG!—the hallway boomed. Bix hugged his bowl. Because of that, the bowl rolled. Rumble-bump! Because of that, Bix chased it past the rug, past the big shoes, all the way to the sunny door.

“I can do it,” squeaked Bix.

Finally, he nudged the bowl back with one brave paw. Look near his paw again — that little bowl still means snack time, safe time, bow-tie time.
