🎨 How to color it

Color the baby dragon mint green, the cracked eggshell pale cream, and the cave crystals icy blue with a few lavender points. Use chunky crayons or broad marker strokes on the big shell pieces, and save sharper pencil tips for the little scales and crystal edges. Try making the crystals darker at the bottom and lighter at the tips so the hatchling looks wrapped in cave sparkle.

Every day inside the warm shell, Nori tapped one tiny claw: tik, tik, tik. He wanted to make the crystal cavern answer before the first blue light slipped through the stones.

Until one day, his tap came back as pling! Because of that, Nori tapped harder, and a crack ran over his ceiling like silver thread. Because of THAT, the cave crystals began to hum, low and bright, and Nori pushed his nose into the cool, sparkling air.

“Hello?” he whispered. A hundred gentle hellos shimmered back. The joy felt too big for one small chest, so Nori tapped the shell again—tik, pling, tik—and shared his first song with every crystal around him. Can you find the little mouth that started the echo: tik, tik, tik?
