🎨 How to color it

Color the unicorn pearly white with a lavender-and-teal striped horn, make the smiling shooting star golden yellow, and shade the crescent moon soft silver beside candy-colored planets. Use sharp colored pencils for the flowing mane, tail ribbons, tiny stars, and dotted constellations so the small space details stay crisp. Try blending the shooting star’s trail from lemon yellow to orange, then add cool blues and purples around the galaxies to make the unicorn look extra bright.

Every night, Eloxi trotted the comet lanes with her nose full of cold stardust and her mane snapping like ribbon in the wind. She wanted the same peaceful shortcut past the silver moon, because the long route smelled like moon-cheese dust and made her sneeze glitter. Until one night, her usual shooting star went “hic!” and turned left instead of right.

Because of that, Eloxi skidded past a ringed planet, through a dotted constellation, and straight into a whirlpool galaxy that sounded like bathwater going slurp-slurp-slurp. Because of THAT, every tiny star began chasing her, certain she had invented a new game. “I did not schedule zoom-tag!” Eloxi called, though she was grinning so hard her cheeks hurt.

At last she grabbed the shooting star’s sparkling tail and found a little latch hidden underneath, where nobody ever thought to look. Inside sat a moon-mouse with goggles, cranking a giggle engine. Eloxi snorted one bright cloud of glitter and let him ride home—after he promised to install a warning bell. Next time the comet lanes go hic, check the star’s tail; cold stardust may be hiding another runaway grin.
