🎨 How to color it

Color the wizard’s robe deep indigo, the portal ribbons teal and silver, the staff flame gold-orange, and the distant cliffs soft lavender. Use sharp colored pencils for the tiny stars, sleeve symbols, and wood-grain swirls, then fill the larger robe folds with smooth marker strokes. Try fading the portal from dark blue at the outer ring to pale aqua near the starry opening, so the wizard looks wrapped in moving light.

Beside the hearth-hall’s blue fire, Orin chalked a new game on the floor: Toss the Warmth-Stone through a doorway spell, then name three things you miss before bringing it back. He tossed the stone gently. The portal sighed open, smelling of rain on cold rock, and the little amber stone skipped out of sight among the star pass peaks.

Orin liked his chair, his kettle, and the sleepy crackle of logs. Still, he took his staff and stepped through. Wind tugged his beard into knots. Frost nipped his fingers. To cross a silver stream, he had to leave one warm mitten on a shivering fox-kit’s back. “You need it more,” he murmured.

At last, the stone glowed under a cliff flower, but Orin did not hurry home. The peaks hummed softly, like friends saving him a seat. He named three things: kettle steam, fox fur, and the brave quiet inside his own boots. When he returned, the hearth seemed wider than before. If you trace the curling gate, can you feel the same blue fire welcoming him beside the hearth-hall’s blue fire?
