Every day, Pip patted mud into one little stepping stone. Plop, pat, plop! He wanted a bridge made by his own hands.
Until one day, the river went WHOOSH and stole the soft stone. Because of that, Pip ran along the cliff with wet mud on his knees. Because of THAT, a crystal golem rose up, clink-clank, holding Pip’s stone like a cookie.
“Mine!” Pip squeaked.
