🎨 How to color it

Color the fairy’s petal dress lavender, her wings pale aqua, the baby dragon mint green, and the tree-arch bark warm brown. Use sharp colored pencils for the dragon’s small scales, wing ribs, and striped horns, then switch to broader strokes for the rolling hills. Try making the sneeze puff glow from lemon yellow stars to soft peach bubbles so it feels like magic bursting into the clearing.

Under the root-arch glen, where bark smelled like rain and old secrets, Sorrel flicked a grass stem and began her new game: Petal-Whisper. She wanted one hidden creature to answer a flower without seeing her. Three taps meant hello, two taps meant come closer, and one brave tap meant try.

From behind a bramble came a smoky sniff. A baby dragon peered out, horns striped like little shadows. Sorrel’s fingers prickled around the moon-daisy stem. Dragons were not in the rules. Still, she gave one tap. “Your turn,” she whispered.

The dragon leaned in. The daisy dust tickled his nose with a silver fizz. “Achoo!” he cried, and starry sparks popped into the air, lighting the dark root-arch like tiny lanterns. The glen held its breath, then every sleeping seed under the moss blinked awake.

Ever since that first moon-daisy sneeze, dragon sneezes have carried sparks to wake seeds in secret places. If you search the clearing, can you spot the brave little flower that started it all?
