At the bendy garden path, a wagon went rumble-bump, rumble-bump, and Winnie popped her paws over the side. She wanted to share her biggest happy bark with the berry bushes, the tall grass, and the round little stones that clicked under the wheels. The air smelled like warm leaves and dust, and every bump made her bandana flap like a tiny flag.
The ride rolled past the quiet bushes. Plink! Something answered from beneath Winnie’s paws. She tilted her head. Plink-plink-jingle! “Who’s laughing down there?” she barked, which made the berries tremble as if they were trying not to giggle.
At the next bump, a loose floorboard bounced up, and out popped six shiny bottle caps, three acorn hats, and a spoon with a grin scratched on it. The wagon had been saving funny sounds where nobody ever looked. Winnie tapped the spoon with her paw—clang!—and the whole garden joined in: leaves shivered, stones clicked, wheels hummed.
By the time the wagon reached the curve, Winnie’s joy was too big for one puppy. She shared it in barks, jingles, and wagging thumps, all the way down the bendy garden path; can you spot where the next rumble-bump might make the secret music jump?
