🎨 How to color it

Color the rocket cherry red with a teal window, give the smiling ringed planets lemon yellow and lavender bands, and make the spiral galaxies deep violet. Use sharp colored pencils for the small stars, dots, and constellation lines, then switch to markers for the rocket’s broad body and fins. Try a midnight-blue-to-black gradient in the open spaces so the white moons and bright rocket flame feel extra glowy.

The story behind this coloring page

Before moonset, a small rocket polished one glow-pebble until it hummed warm in her storage cup. Veya had set herself a quiet challenge: carry the pebble past three spiral winds and place it on the farthest star-hook before the silver moons curled to sleep.

Out she glided from her cozy launch nest, through peppery stardust and the soft tick-tick of constellation pins. The first spiral wind tugged a fin ribbon loose. The second made her window frost over. At the third, she heard a tiny scrape—skritch, skritch—where a young comet bumped in circles, too dim to find its trail.

“No one will see,” Veya whispered, and tucked the glow-pebble into the comet’s icy tail. It brightened like honey in moonlight and sailed away without a thank-you, because it never knew. Veya returned with an empty cup, a cold fin, and a new kind of shine inside. Next time you spot the little rocket among the smiling planets, keep the secret of the glow-pebble before moonset.
