🎨 How to color it

Color the unicorn scoop lavender, the lower scoop strawberry pink, the rainbow in soft red, yellow, green, and blue, and the cherries bright ruby. Use sharp colored pencils for the tiny sprinkles, stars, and scalloped doily, then switch to markers for the wide scoops and glass panels. Try making the sundae glass pale aqua so the warm pink bow and golden star wand feel like secret treasures shining through it.

The story behind this coloring page

Saffi Waits for the Star — Under the dessert room’s blue lamp, Saffi rubbed the sundae glass until it squeaked like clean snow. Read the full story →

Under the dessert room’s blue lamp, Saffi rubbed the sundae glass until it squeaked like clean snow. She wanted one fallen sugar star for the empty bow badge before the midnight cart rolled in. The big stars above the rainbow glittered, but none dropped. Not one. So Saffi climbed down from her safe glass rim and followed a slow drip of vanilla syrup, step by sticky step, past the cherry bowl and the quiet wand.

The drip led under the scalloped doily, where the air smelled like cold sugar and paper lace. Saffi waited while the syrup made one round, then another, around a hidden bump. At last, plink! A tiny star slid out from a secret fold, not fallen from the sky at all. “I knew you were taking your time,” Saffi whispered.

She carried it back with syrup on her shoes and set it on the bow. Next time you spot that star, keep the secret: some wishes come from waiting under the dessert room’s blue lamp.
