🎨 How to color it

Give the knight’s cape a royal red, her armor bright silver, the sword a golden glow, and the flying dragon a soft sky blue. Use sharp pencils for the armor plates, crown points, and sword shine, then switch to broad crayon strokes for the cape and clouds. Try a pale purple-to-blue sky behind the dragon so the red cape and golden sword look extra brave.

Every evening, Tavia stirred the high-pass stew with a dented silver spoon, then marched to the cliff to salute the sunset. The spoon looked silly tucked beside her sword, but it had been her baby spoon, and it made the stew taste like home. Until one day, a tiny wind-sprite sneezed pepper into the pot—PFFFT!—and the whole stew flew into the clouds.

Because of that, the sky dragon swooped low, sniffing oniony air and rumbling like a drum. Because of that, the guards hid their biscuits, and the wind-sprite giggled inside a helmet. Tavia raised her sword and shouted, “No chomping my friends!” Then she quietly slid her last honey biscuit into the spoon and held it up. The dragon nibbled, purred, and carried the sprite away for kitchen cleanup. Next time you see Tavia’s lifted sword, can you spot the spoon that saved supper?
