Color the pilgrim hat deep charcoal, the buckle shiny gold, the bonnet soft cream, and the scattered maple and oak leaves pumpkin orange and cranberry red. Use chunky crayons for the big hat, bonnet, and leaves, and let little hands color right over the tiny berries if they want. Because of that, Suki peeked under leaves. Crunch! Because of THAT, she sniffed the berries. Sniff-sniff! Still, the giggle wiggled.
