🎨 How to color it

Use soft gray for Milo the skeleton, pale yellow for the big crescent moon, and bright gold for the stars on his cheeks and in the sky. For little hands, try chunky crayons on the large skull and rib shapes, and don’t worry if the color wiggles over the thick black lines. Add a bedtime twist by making the tiny moons light blue and the clouds lavender, like a busy night sky getting cozy.

The tiny star on the skeleton’s cheek looks sleepy, but it is really the badge for a moonlit race. Whoosh, the night air felt cool and sparkly as Milo hugged his favorite bone and zoomed past the puffy clouds.

“Go, go, go!” whispered the little stars. Milo wanted to reach the big crescent moon before the smallest moon could blink. Can you find the big crescent moon behind him? That was the finish line. But oh no—his toe bones bumped together, and he spun in a silly circle!

Milo did not stop for long. He tucked his knees close, held the bone tight, and zipped forward again. Can you spot the tiny star on his cheek? It twinkled brighter when he passed the cloud on the right. One more swoop, one happy wiggle, and Milo floated beside the big moon, ready for a well-earned nap among the stars.
