Color the dolphin sky blue, the oversized sunglasses lemon yellow, the palm fronds bright green, and the smiling sun golden orange. Every day, Pippa practiced one giant splash beside the palm sandbar. Slap-splash! Her tail boomed, the shells clicked, and she saved the biggest spray to show her pod at sunset.

Until one day, a tiny crab bobbed past in huge yellow sunglasses. “Too bright! Too lost!” he squeaked. Because of that, Pippa popped up higher than ever, wearing the glasses so the sun flashed on them. Because of that, three gulls saw the sparkle and circled, and because of THAT, Pippa’s pod raced over, laughing and leaping in a fizzy parade.
