🎨 How to color it

Color her twin ponytails lavender, the tiny stars in her eyes bright gold, the blush marks peach, and the background sparkles sky blue. Use sharp colored pencils for the small stars tucked into her pupils and hair, then switch to smooth marker strokes for the larger hair sections. Try a soft pink-to-purple gradient on her bangs so the bright eye stars feel even more magical.

Under the old observatory dome, Mira set seven millet seeds on the windowsill. For each secret star she found before dawn, she would move one seed into her pocket. The telescope room smelled of brass polish and cold rain, and the sky hid behind clouds like a shut book.

She left her warm blanket nook and climbed the spiral stair to the roof garden, where wet tiles clicked under her slippers. One seed slipped through a crack. Then another rolled into a sleeping moth’s wing-dust. Mira did not grab or grumble. She waited, listening to drip… drip… hush. When the clouds thinned, six small stars winked from chimney glass, puddles, and the silver telescope knob.

“Where is the seventh?” she whispered. A pale light answered from the round observatory mirror, not above her but inside her own patient eyes. She laughed so softly the moth stayed asleep, and carried five seeds home with something better than seven: a secret that waited to be seen. Can you find the stars that Mira learned to count without rushing?
