🎨 How to color it

Try deep violet for the bat mask, bright yellow for the three forehead stars, and soft pink inside the curved ear shapes. With chunky crayons, help your child fill the big eye wings and lower band first; it is okay if color hops over the thick black lines. Add a tiny silver or white sparkle dot on each star so the handmade mask feels ready for moonlight.

At the little craft table, glue went plip, plip, plip. Bram pressed one paper star, then two, then three onto his bat mask. “I made it,” he whispered, and the paper felt bumpy under his fingers.

The room grew blue and quiet. In the window, the moon peeked in. Twist! Three tiny lights winked on the glass, just like Bram’s stars.

Bram held up his mask. Moon dots and paper stars shone together. Can you find the three stars Bram pressed on, plip, plip, plip?
