🎨 How to color it

Use pumpkin orange for the jack-o’-lantern candies, grape purple for the swirly lollipops, and sunny yellow for the stars and crescent moons. For toddlers, offer chunky crayons and let them color one big candy shape at a time, skipping the tiny wrapper twists if they want. Try making every “Boo!” bubble a different bright color so the silly shouts pop out of the candy pile.

Under the crinkly candy mountain, Juno puffed up small and round. She wanted to give one happy “Boo!” to the whole pile. Wrappers went crish-crash. Lollipops stood like tall trees. Stars winked over the sweets.

“Boo!” peeped Juno.

Then a candy corn answered, “Boo!” A pumpkin pop giggled, “Boo!” Even the square chocolate smiled a soft, chocolaty “Boo!” Juno laughed so hard she wiggled like jelly.

Soon the whole treat pile was sharing the boo—bright, bouncy, and too big to keep. Can you find the first little ghost who started it?
