Every evening, Bix swept the whirl sky and counted stars before his cinnamon cloud snack. “Ten stars, then toast!” he chirped, tapping each point with his broom: tap, tap, tappity-tap.
Until one day, he challenged himself to count with his eyes closed. Because of that, he tickled the moon’s nose instead of a star, and the moon snorted a silver giggle. Because of THAT, the sun laughed too, and every star began zooming in silly circles around them.
Bix chased the whooshy, lemon-bright mess until he finally shouted, “Freeze for snack!” The stars stopped mid-tumble, the moon and sun kept grinning, and Bix counted eleven. Can you spot the sneaky extra star that made his curiosity run away?
