Every morning, Pip dipped one paw in berry jam and tried to make a perfect circle of prints around his nap rug. Squish, pat, plop! He wanted the neatest paw-print loop in the whole kitchen, but his tail kept swishing through the sticky sweetness.
Until one day, Pip sneezed—“Achoo!”—and bounced backward into the flour bin. Because of that, his jammy paws turned pink and powdery, and because of THAT, each step made a funny puff and a brighter print. The dog followed. The baby followed. Even Grandma laughed and clapped, “Parade!” Pip marched out the door, sharing prints down the hall like tiny happy drums. Look near the kitten again—you can almost hear squish, pat, plop.
