🎨 How to color it

Color the smiling roses bubblegum pink, the leaves mint green, the tiny hearts cherry red, and the blank banner soft lavender. Use chunky crayons or broad markers for the big petals and sticker borders, and don’t worry if little hearts or leaf lines get skipped. Try making every rose face a slightly different pink, as if the whole sticker sheet is blushing together.

The story behind this coloring page

Willa’s Unseen Sticker Game — Under the humming art-room light, Willa spread her rose stickers across the wide table. Read the full story →

Under the humming art-room light, Willa spread her rose stickers across the wide table. She invented a game called Secret Pair: one heart for someone lonely, one bow for someone brave, one smiling rose for the quietest chair. The paper smelled like fresh glue, and the sticker edges felt smooth under her finger.

She placed them where no one would see her do it—inside a book cart, beside the pencil sharpener, under the window latch. Then a soft breeze flipped the last sticker over. Its little banner was blank. Willa whispered, “Oh.” She wrote THANK YOU in tiny purple letters and tucked it on the cleaner’s cart, where lemon soap and dust made the air shine.

After recess, no one knew who had made the room feel rosy. But if you spot the banner among the roses, you’ll know which secret game ended with a gift nobody was watching.
