🎨 How to color it

Color the rainbow red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and violet, the leprechaun’s tall hat emerald green, the coins golden yellow, and the shamrocks bright clover green. Use chunky crayons or washable markers to fill the big rainbow bands and the rounded pot first, then touch the small coin circles gently. Try making the “POT OF GOLD” letters orange or green so they pop against a black cauldron.

Why Rainbows Find Gold — After rain, a small bent coin in Finnick’s pocket went tick-tick-tick against his belt buckle. Read the full story →

After rain, a small bent coin in Finnick’s pocket went tick-tick-tick against his belt buckle. He hurried through wet clover, sniffing the sharp green smell, because he wanted the rainbow to stop wandering and come home to his family’s empty black pot.

The coin had belonged to his grandmother, and it hummed only on misty afternoons. “Show me where I fit,” Finnick whispered. The clouds went hush. The coin jumped from his hand, clinked into the pot, and every other coin rang like tiny bells.

Down curved the rainbow, warm and bright, right to the rim. Ever since, rainbows land where a treasured coin feels at home. If you peek among the shamrocks, can you spot the pot that answered with bells?
