🎨 How to color it

Give the goat a creamy white coat with tan striped horns, the guitar a honey-brown body, and the big G and little g a bright grass green. Use sharp colored pencils on the guitar strings, frets, and horn stripes so those skinny lines stay crisp. Try making the two music notes a bold violet so they look like sound hopping above the goat’s head.

Across the grass stage, a young goat named Gus tapped his hooves in the warm dust and chased every G-sound he could hear. Grasshoppers clicked. Gravel crunched. His own little beard went swish-swish against his chest. “Give me one grand G,” he bleated, and bounded around the giant letter paths until the air smelled green and sun-baked.

The path curved into a huge G, then curled into a smaller one, and Gus followed both like trails on a treasure map. Beside the tall grass, a guitar leaned quietly, its strings shining like six thin streams. Gus leaned close. Ping! One string answered by itself, not loud, but bright enough to make his ears jump.

Then the guitar spoke in twangs. “You’ve been running on my music,” it said. Every hoofbeat Gus had made was a note; every grasshopper click was a helper beat. The big G was not just a letter path—it was a song waiting for feet. Gus grinned, stamped four quick steps, and the guitar tossed two notes into the sky. If you follow the curve of the G next time, can you hear his hooves chasing that grand G again?
