🎨 How to color it

Color the puppy honey brown, the bone creamy white, the picnic basket golden tan, and the big flowers sunny yellow. Use chunky crayons for the puppy’s round head and blanket, and don’t worry if little hands color over the wavy bush lines. For extra fun, make each basket stripe a different picnic color, like red, blue, and green.

The story behind this coloring page

Pip’s Biggest Picnic Cheer — Every day, Pip trotted to the meadow with one bone. Tap-tap, sniff-sniff, he tried to carry it all the way to the picnic blanket without dropping it. Read the full story →

Every day, Pip trotted to the meadow with one bone. Tap-tap, sniff-sniff, he tried to carry it all the way to the picnic blanket without dropping it.

Until one windy day, his basket went bump! Because of that, the cups rattled. Because of that, Pip hugged his bone tight and shouted, “Picnic parade!” Bees buzzed, flowers bobbed, and the happy shout felt too big for one puppy. Finally, Pip shared the cheer with the whole meadow. Next time you see his bone, can you hear tap-tap, sniff-sniff?
