🎨 How to color it

Color the robot armor cherry red and steel silver, the big R badge sunny yellow, the lightning bolts electric blue, and the tiny ringed planets lime green. Use sharp colored pencils for the many armor panels, gears, city windows, and jagged burst shapes so the black pop-art outlines stay crisp. Try making the cape fade from deep purple at the shoulders to hot pink at the edges, with the blue bolts popping like arcade sparks.

Every evening, after the billboard buzzers clicked on, Nova stomped along the maintenance roofs inventing games from loose screws and streetlight shadows. His newest was Rooftop Rescue: leap three cracked tiles, punch the air at the moon, then tag the highest antenna before the traffic horns made a long honk.

Until one day, a gust snapped his foil cape wide, and the antenna’s warning star blinked out. Because of that, delivery drones began circling the wrong tower with a worried whirr. Because of THAT, the sky-tram slowed over the avenue, packed with passengers smelling popcorn from the plaza below.

Nova’s knee joints ticked. The gap to the antenna looked wider than any game gap. “Okay,” he beeped, very small. “Real round.” He sprang, caught the hot metal rail, and slapped his glowing R badge against the dead switch. Light burst back across the roofs. Next time you spot his raised fist above the zigzag city, dare yourself to hear the traffic horns make one long honk.
