🎨 How to color it

Give the astronaut’s suit bright white with sky-blue trim, the backpack tubes silver, Earth green and ocean blue, and the crescent moon buttery yellow. Use chunky crayons or washable markers for the big helmet, suit, and planet shapes; staying inside every line is optional for little hands. Add one surprise color, like an orange rocket patch on the chest, to make the salute feel extra zippy.

Under the bouncy stars, Nico tapped one boot. Tap-tap! He wanted the moon pebble to blink, so he waited beside two lumpy rocks.

The round Earth glowed blue-green. The crescent moon grinned. Nico lifted his hand. “Hello, pebble!”

Then—ting! A tiny sparkle peeked from his glove cuff. Not the pebble at all! It had been riding with him, quiet and bright.

Nico laughed and saluted the sky. The pebble stayed still, the sparkle winked, and next time you see his raised glove, can you find where patience went ting?
