🎨 How to color it

Color the koala soft gray with peachy inner ears, make the big Valentine heart rosy pink, and fill the eucalyptus leaves in mint and sage greens. Use chunky crayons for the koala and heart first, then switch to a sharper crayon or pencil for the small leaves, dots, and outlined letters. Try coloring the word VALENTINE in rainbow letters so it looks like the koala is holding a secret party sign.

Every day, Juno hugged the mail-grove’s biggest paper heart and practiced saying, “For you!” in a very grand voice. Inside the heart, one tiny pebble clicked whenever he squeezed it, and Juno always grinned because that pebble came from the path where he met his best friend, Tilly.

Until one day, the heart went click-click-CLACK and a folded leaf popped out. Because of that, Juno peeked. Because of that, he found another leaf tucked behind the VALENTINE letters, then another, each smelling sharp and sweet like eucalyptus candy. “Uh-oh,” he giggled.

Finally, the trail led straight to the leafy arch, where Tilly had hidden a silly parade of heart notes. Next time you spot the tiny hearts around Juno, can you guess which one still has a click-click secret?
