🎨 How to color it

Use creamy white for the marshmallow, golden yellow and orange for the flames, brown for the crossed logs, and deep green for the pine trees. For little hands, color the big flame shapes with chunky crayons first, then dab simple dots of color on the small stars and stones. Try making the night sky a soft blue-purple while leaving the smiling marshmallow bright, like it is keeping a tiny secret.

A tiny green glow blinked by a cold twig. “Please?” whispered a glow-bug, shiver-shiver. Nico gave one soft puff, and the twig caught: crackle, pop! His marshmallow got a brown spot, not the perfect toast he planned.

Back at his blanket, Nico smiled. The bug’s little lantern winked from the trees. Can you spot the secret glow near the warm, wiggly fire?
