Behind the warm cloud puffs, Bex the little propeller plane made up a game called Star-Stop. He would hum brrr-brrr, glide past one star, and wait until it winked before tagging the next. The trouble was, the stars were sleepy in daylight, and his propeller tickled with waiting.
“Not yet,” whispered the round sun, smelling like toast and orange peel. So Bex circled the rainbow clouds once, twice, three slow times. At last, one tiny star blinked. Bex zipped after it, and his patient path left bright glitter behind him. Ever since, when a plane waits for the right wink, star trails sparkle—maybe you can spot where Bex’s first game zoomed away.
