Under Lantern Reef, Finnick flicked his glowing lure: swish, loop, wiggle. He had made himself a dare—three silly shapes before snack time. First came a circle. Then came a zigzag. The water smelled salty and tickled his cheeks as bubbles popped, plip-plip-plip.
For the third shape, Finnick tried a fancy spiral, but a small shadow above him curled eight arms into the very same spiral. “Hey, that’s my wiggle!” Finnick laughed. The little octopus blinked and made a square. Finnick copied it with his light, crooked and wobbly. Soon the reef had two giggly artists, one with arms and one with a lamp. Next time you spot Finnick’s shiny lure, can you guess which shape they tried after the wiggly light dare?
