🎨 How to color it

Color the volleyball panels coral, turquoise, and sunny yellow, with emerald leaves, lavender daisies, and rose-pink hearts. Use chunky crayons for the big ball sections, then switch to a sharper crayon tip for the skinny curling vines and tiny petals. Try making the vines darkest near the ball and lighter as they curl outward, like a secret garden glow.

Behind the clubhouse, where sprinklers clicked tik-tik and wet leaves smelled like pepper, Ori tucked a volleyball under her arm. She had set herself one challenge: serve it into the old circle of vines before the first firefly blinked.

The ball thumped, bounced, and rolled away again. Then Ori heard a tiny hum under the roots. “Who’s singing?” she whispered. A silver seed popped open, and the vines curled toward the ball like welcoming arms. Ori served once more. This time the ball landed softly in the green ring, and little hearts opened among the leaves.

Ever since, volleyball gardens curl around the ball to show it has found its court and its people. Next time you see the leafy swirls, can you spot where Ori’s secret seed-song began?
