🎨 How to color it

Give the mermaid’s tail seafoam green, her long hair coral pink, the bubbles pale blue, and the big seashell soft lavender. Use chunky crayons for the wide tail, shell, and seaweed shapes, and don’t worry if little hands color past the bold lines. Try making every other tail scale a slightly darker green so her tail looks splashy and fun.

Every day, Zuzu zipped through Coral Cove, pat-pat-patting bubbles into rows with her tail. She wanted the path clear before the tide bell went ding!

Until one day, a teeny fish popped from the seaweed, shiver-shiver, with no warm nook. Because of that, Zuzu pushed her shiny shell out from the sand. Because of THAT, the fish curled inside, snug as soup. “For you!” Zuzu whispered, and swam away before anyone clapped.
