🎨 How to color it

Color the “YOU ARE AMAZING” letters in sunny yellow and coral, the smiling flowers in pink and tangerine, the leaves in fresh green, and the stars in sky blue. Use sharp colored pencils for the dots, stripes, leaf veins, and tiny heart outlines, then switch to markers for the larger bubble letters. Try making the two winged hearts glow with a soft lavender-to-pink blend so they feel like secret messengers flying through the doodles.

Above the rooftop bazaar, where cardamom steam curled from tea carts and paper lanterns clicked softly in the wind, Nella invented the Quiet Catch Game. She wrote kind words on scraps, folded them small, and waited to see which one the breeze would choose. “No grabbing,” she whispered to her cousin Bram. “The game only works if we let the wind decide.”

For a long while, nothing happened. The words fluttered, hid under mint leaves, and tickled the toes of painted clay birds. Bram sighed so loudly a lantern bobbed. Then one scrap lifted—slowly, slowly—and stuck to a silver star charm above the awning. Another rose to a smiling flower pin. Another tucked itself into a little winged heart.

By moonrise, the whole bazaar shimmered with patient words, saved where hurried hands could not smudge them. Ever since, stars keep compliments until the right person looks up; next time you spot one near a swirl or a heart, see if it has been waiting to tell you what Nella first let the wind choose.
