Under a blanket fort, Pip held one blue block. “Two,” Pip whispered, wanting one more thing to count.
A tiny ting rang outside the fort. Pip crawled out onto the cool rug. There waited two balloons, bob-bob, with a little star peeking between them. Pip’s knee bumped the rug, and the blue block rolled away.
“Come see,” whispered the star.
