Every evening, Lena counted train wheels from the station fence: clack-one, clack-two, clack-three. She wanted to ride the Christmas Express, but the step up to the little caboose looked as tall as a mountain of snow. So she invented a game called Wobble Watch: if she spotted three wobbles in the present car, she would tell the conductor.
One snowy night, the car went wiggle-wiggle-WHOOP. Because of that, Lena hopped aboard before her knees could argue. Because of THAT, she saw the Christmas tree tilting, bells jingling like spoons in a drawer. “Wobble number three!” she squeaked. The conductor tied the tree tight, and Lena rode home grinning. Next time snowflakes swirl over a holiday train, can you spot the brave Wobble Watcher’s favorite car?
