🎨 How to color it

Color the Coast Line Express cherry red, the big Platform 2 clock warm brass, the rolling suitcase ocean blue, and the smiling cloud pale peach. Use sharp crayons or colored pencils for the train wheels, window faces, and brick platform lines so the tiny details stay clear. Try making the smoke fade from soft gray near the stack to sky blue as it curls over the little town.

The story behind this coloring page

The Whistle Card Secret — Under the tall station clock, Finn pressed his homemade whistle card flat in his palm. Read the full story →

Under the tall station clock, Finn pressed his homemade whistle card flat in his palm. He had cut it from a cereal box, poked two neat holes, and colored a blue stripe down the middle. If he could find the old conductor’s stamp, his vacation scrapbook would start with something he made himself. The Coast Line Express hissed warm steam that smelled like pennies and rain. “Platform Two,” called a porter, “but the stamp box is across the footbridge.”

Finn hurried up the metal steps, click-clack, click-clack, and the wind snatched his card. It spun down beside the engine, right where no feet could go. Finn swallowed, then blew through the two holes. Twee-twee! The driver leaned out and grinned. “That’s the missing short whistle!” He stamped Finn’s card with a tiny train and handed it back, smudged and wonderful. When the clock chimed, Finn held up his whistle card under the tall station clock—can you spot the little place where his secret began?
