🎨 How to color it

Try dusty rose for the oversized bow loops, sage green for the leafy vines, marigold and coral for the blossoms, and deep plum for the pom-pom shadows. Use sharp colored pencils on the tiny leaves, bud caps, and scrollwork, then switch to light layered strokes for the broad ribbon panels. For a playful finish, let the two pom-poms share the same flower colors but reverse the bow’s left and right ribbon shades like a secret team signal.

Every evening, Tamsin clipped one fragrant bloom for the rooftop squad’s bow and hid the rest from the city pigeons, whose coos sounded suspiciously like gossip. Until one day, a velvet-winged greenhouse moth landed on her scissors, wearing a stolen petal like a cape. Because of that, Tamsin chased it through warm basil steam and knocked a tray of buds into both pom-poms; because of that, the whole cheer burst into accidental flowers. Finally, laughing too hard to scold, she tied every bloom on the bow and let the moth keep its ridiculous cape.
