Coloring tips

Hockey gear has many rounded pads, straps, and vents, so use firm outlines first, then add short gray or blue shading under gloves, helmets, and goalie pads to show depth. Long, light strokes behind skates can make the ice feel scratched and fast. For a hockey-specific twist, invent two rival team uniforms and add custom logos on the jerseys, center ice, and goalie mask.
