Under the mini rink lights, Zuri tucked her tiny star puck by her skate. Tap-tap. It had been her bedtime button since she was a pup, smooth as a cold pebble and smelling faintly of rubber. She wanted one perfect quiet save with it close. But the puck gave a soft blink.
