🎨 How to color it

Color the hockey helmet bright red, the face cage silver, the PUCK deep black, and the goal net a soft blue-gray. Use chunky crayons to fill the big helmet panels first, and do not worry if the lines get a little extra color. Add one secret gold stripe on the puck’s edge so it looks like it rolled in from a tiny rink mystery.

The story behind this coloring page

Luna Hears the Puck — Under the tall rink glass, Luna held her stick. Tap-tap? Read the full story →

Under the tall rink glass, Luna held her stick. Tap-tap? Not yet. The puck sat past the big helmet, all by itself. She stepped out. Slip, squeak, wibble! Her mitten got cold on the ice.

“Psst,” said the puck. Luna froze. A tiny gold line shone on its side. “Tap me home.” Luna took one small breath and tap! The puck slid back, soft as hush. Next time you see the puck by the helmet, can you find its secret gold line?
